Kalgin Island Lodge
Kalgin Island Lodge From AirAlaska's Kalgin Island Lodge may be one of the enigmas of the planet because it is so remote and wild, yet so near to the major Alaska cities of Kenai and Anchorage. It is a place hidden in deep wilderness, rebundant with trophy fish and wildlife, and totally inaccessible except by floatplane, or helicopter, yet Kalgin Island Lodge affords all of the comforts and sophistication of a modern suburban executive retreat.

Kalgin Island can be found easily on any atlas. It is one of only a few islands in Alaska's Cook Inlet, an inland waterway of the North Pacific. Kalgin Island Lodge is located in temperate southcentral Alaska, only 81 miles SW of the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport, and only 24 miles WSW of the City of Kenai.

The Kalgin Island Lodge was built in 1985 by an Anchorage, Alaska attorney and his wife. The remote lodge has been maintained and operated as an upscale executive retreat for nearly 20 years. Kalgin Island Lodge has entertained renowned corporate clients, and Alaska visitors from around the world. The spacious lodge integrates all of the amenities of a corporate boardroom.

Recently, commercial operation was suspended in order to undertake an ambitious facility modernization project, which is now nearly complete. After 20 years with the lodge, the owners wish to move on, and are offering this unique Alaska remote property for sale.
